CPCCo’s team of managing partners is committed to ensuring maximum participation of small businesses (SBs) in our journey to cleanup Hanford’s Central Plateau. Our commitment will ensure a minimum of 18% of the total value of the contract will be subcontracted, and at least 60% of that work will be performed by SBs. We plan to focus on what SBs do best — nimble delivery of meaningful scope through fixed priced or cost reimbursable subcontracts; unique one-off tasks; and managing staffing levels during peaks and valleys. CPCCo will follow our Make/Buy Process that has proven successful at other similar, successful cleanup contracts including:

  • Hanford’s WRPS, where 65% of scope is being subcontracted at a value of over $1.82B
  • Hanford’s WCH, where we subcontracted 88% ($1.13B) of the total project
  • UCOR, who is subcontracting 81% ($954M) of the work as they successfully cleanup the Oak Ridge Reservation in Tennessee
