Community Involvement
CPCCo is Committed to the Tri-Cities

Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) is committed to supporting communities surrounding the Hanford Site. We have created a comprehensive Community Commitment Plan that focuses on Richland, Pasco and Kennewick in Franklin and Benton Counties and the Native American Tribes included in the DOE Tribal Program at Hanford. Our plan will support community organizations and initiatives that include both financial contributions and in-kind services.

Community Commitment Plan Highlights include:

  • Enhance local education programs
  • Develop the future regional workforce
  • Growing the regional supply chain
  • Local community support
  • Enhancing the public experience of Hanford and sustainability of area natural resources
  • Partnership with regional entities

Many members of our management team are already involved in local community organizations. Others who are new to the area look forward to finding organizations and activities that are aligned with their personal passions and interests and provide the opportunity for meaningful community involvement.

Central Plateau Cleanup Company will build upon our extensive history in the Tri-Cities region and provide a foundation of support toward educational initiatives, community programs, regional sustainability and land restoration.

We are extremely proud to build on the great community relationships that were established by our heritage companies. We are also excited about building on the success and ongoing volunteer efforts of the existing workforce as we move the project forward together.
